Therapist Jessie Bliss, LMFT

Because sometimes, life is fucking hard.

Lucky for you, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

You've spent years trying to keep it together. Doing what you're supposed to do. Being productive. Being responsible. Trying to be a good partner, a good human, a good _______. And yet here you are: anxious, burned out, stuck in the same patterns, and wondering why life doesn't feel right.

You don't need another list of coping skills or someone telling you to just think positive. You need space to make sense of things, understand yourself and your relationships more deeply, and reconnect with what actually matters to you.

That's the work I do. My job is to have the honest conversations that help you navigate the tough stuff now, so that you are better prepared for all the shit life throws at you.

Change is possible when you have a deeper understanding of yourself.

What we need for growth is a safe place to unload, authentically, and get some fresh perspective. Therapy is a place for you to reconnect with yourself, your values, and to get the needed push (read: a kick in the ass) to try something different.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in practice since 2009. I received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University in Southern California. I started my private practice because I was looking for more. More freedom. More peace. More joy. Outside of my practice, I enjoy reading, traveling, eating good food, and drinking good wine.

Hank is here for sleep, belly rubs, and treats. He provides hours of companionship, way too many discontented sighs, and constantly reminds me I need to work to buy him food. Hank might drop in on your sessions to remind you that you are worthy of love just because you exist. Hank might also give you a judging look. Sometimes he’s like that. When we aren’t working, he enjoys going for walks in the forest, car rides with his head out the window, and getting to smell new places.
